URS Welcomes New Associate Partner: Mark Roberts

Following 20 years as a British Army Officer, Mark Roberts’ military background coupled with his commercial leadership skills equip him to be a great asset for Universal Recruitment and Interim Solutions.

Universal Recruitment and Interim Solutions are pleased to announce the addition of a new associate partner: Mark Roberts.

Mark is the second associate to join our team. As an associate, his role is to help develop and enhance our client base, assist with candidate placement, and strengthen our community through connections with specialists from his own professional networks.

A former British Army Officer of 20 years, Mark has multinational experience, working to international standards with government departments, commercial companies and NGOs in ME and Africa. We trust that his firsthand experience navigating the civilian employment market after military service (plus an inside understanding of the Armed Forces community) will be a real asset to ex-Forces personnel in the URS candidate database.

Mark also has 8 years of commercial leadership and security consultancy operating at the board level across MENA, working in UAE, Jordan, KSA and Egypt.

In more recent times Mark has worked as an independent contractor and consults across a range of security, crisis management and risk fields.

His specialist areas:

Security;
Risk and Resilience;
Crisis and Emergency Planning;
Business Continuity;
Facilities Management;
Consultancy;
Expat Roles in the Middle East, especially UAE and Jordan, but experience in KSA and Egypt.
